Terms

Last updated 24 August 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses IndieRank at indierank.lol, whether you are reading the board or paying to be on it. The service is operated by Aditya Singh(“we”). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please don’t use it.

The rules are part of these terms

The rules page describes how ranking works, what may be listed and what happens after you pay. It forms part of these terms. Where the two disagree, this page governs.

What IndieRank is

IndieRank is a paid leaderboard. Position is determined solely by how much a listing has paid in total. It is not a review, a ranking of quality, a recommendation, or an endorsement of any listed website.

Every listing is paid placement, and outbound links are marked as sponsored and no-follow. Nothing here should be understood as a search engine optimisation service, and no ranking benefit on any other platform is offered or implied.

We do not vet the websites on the board. Visiting a listed site is at your own risk and any dealings you have with it are between you and its operator.

Accounts

You need to sign in with Google to list a website. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Keep control of the Google account you sign in with — anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

Give accurate information. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse, or repeated breaches of these terms.

Listing a website

By submitting a URL you confirm that:

  • You own or run the website, or are authorised to list it.
  • It is not a group chat or invite link, and it does not contain sexual or adult content.
  • It is not illegal, deceptive, malicious, or a phishing, malware or scam page, and it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
  • Listing it does not breach anyone else’s terms, and the page will keep working at the URL you gave.

A listing is identified by its full path with the query string removed, so two pages on one domain are two separate listings. The first completed payment for a URL claims it; after that, only that account can top it up.

The icon shown on the board is read automatically from your page, and your title and description are prefilled from it. You may edit that text at any time, and you are responsible for what it says: it must describe the website accurately and must not mislead, impersonate anyone, or contain anything you lack the rights to. You give us permission to store and display it for as long as the listing is on the board.

Bids, payments and tax

Bids are whole US dollars and start at $2. Your rank reflects your lifetime total across all payments for that listing, not your most recent one.

Payments are taken by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record. Their terms apply to the transaction itself. Any applicable tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

A rank is claimed by a completed payment and nothing else. Starting a checkout, or a payment that is pending or fails, claims nothing.

Refunds

Bids are non-refundable. Being outbid is not a refund reason — the board is live and a listing stays on it at whatever rank its total now reaches.

Listings removed for breaking the rules are not refunded. Where a refund is issued at our discretion, or is forced by a chargeback, the amount is deducted from the listing’s lifetime total and its rank falls accordingly.

If something looks wrong with a payment, email us before opening a dispute. We would rather fix it directly.

What is not promised

A rank is a position on a live board, not a slot reserved for a period of time. Anyone can pay more at any moment and move above you. No minimum duration at any position, and no particular number of visitors, clicks or sales, is promised.

Click counts are measured on a best-effort basis. Repeat clicks from the same visitor within a short window are counted once and obvious automated traffic is excluded, so the figure is a fair public signal rather than a billing-grade metric.

The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we may change or discontinue it.

Removal

We may remove or hide any listing, without refund, if it breaks these terms or the rules, if the destination stops working or changes into something that would not have been accepted, or if keeping it up would expose us to legal risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or lost data arising from your use of the board.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the website you list and for any claim brought against us because of it — including claims that it infringes someone’s rights, or breaches a law or another platform’s terms.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change. The date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the board means the new version applies. Changes are not applied retroactively to payments already made.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
